Why is Food safety training important?


There are over 2 million cases of food poisoning each year, many are not recorded.

One virus campylobacter is responsible for 370,000 estimated cases in 2009, resulting in more than 17.500 hospitalisations and 88 deaths, with an estimated cost of £583 million in 2008.
